Engineering Calculation Tools
Web tools and engineering services for seismic anchor calculations, equipment anchorage, and vibration isolator selection — backed by PE/SE stamped review.
ASCE 7-22 Equipment Anchor Calculator
Compute Fp, Fv, anchor tension and shear for any nonstructural component under ASCE 7-22 Chapter 13. Authorized-user web tool with PE/SE-stampable output.

Generic structural software rarely captures the full ASCE 7-22 Chapter 13 force chain — Hf, Rμ, CAR, Rpo, the Fp,min floor, the Fp,max ceiling, ±Fv combination, the Ω0 amplification on concrete-controlled anchors, and the orthogonal-direction check. Our calculator bakes in the 2025 CBC parameters and outputs a clean, stamp-ready calculation sheet.
Methodology
The calculator follows the workflow documented in our Equipment Anchorage Design page: derive seismic demand, build the free-body diagram, resolve into per-anchor tension and shear, check ACI 318-19 Chapter 17 limit states (steel, breakout, pullout, blowout, pryout), apply the §17.8 combined-load interaction, and output a DCR table with the governing limit state called out.
