SSI-Series Seismic Vibration Isolators
Patented spring isolators with integrated earthquake restraint — engineered for excellent vibration isolation efficiency, in-field leveling adjustability, and full AC-156 seismic qualification.
Tested innovative design
The SSI-Series combines a high-deflection spring with an integrated earthquake restraint housing — a single component that isolates vibration and protects equipment during a seismic event.
Independently qualified per ICC-ES AC-156 acceptance criteria — supports IBC/CBC and HCAI/OSHPD certification submittals.
High-deflection spring design delivers superior isolation efficiency for rotating and reciprocating equipment.
Built-in leveling studs accommodate uneven mounting surfaces and simplify field installation.
Patented design by Panache Engineering Inc. Manufactured in the USA by Sigma Source LLC.

Engineered components
Each isolator is built around a robust welded steel housing and a color-coded spring matched to the equipment load. Tension nuts and rubber grommets resist uplift and damp transient impact during a seismic event.

Frequently asked questions
Specs, certification, lead time, and installation answers for the SSI-Series.
What load range do SSI-Series isolators cover?
The SSI-2SR-41T model line covers per-isolator loads from 200 lb up to 6,200 lb across 20 color-coded springs at 1-inch rated deflection (1.3–1.5 in max deflection). Higher-capacity and alternate-deflection SSI-Series configurations are available on request — send us your equipment weight and mounting count and we'll return an isolator selection schedule.
Are SSI-Series isolators AC-156 shake table tested?
Yes. The SSI-Series has been independently qualified to ICC-ES AC-156 acceptance criteria on a triaxial shake table. Test reports support IBC/CBC code compliance and HCAI/OSHPD OSP special seismic certification submittals. Documentation ships with every order.
What is the typical lead time for SSI-Series isolators?
Standard SSI-2SR-41T models typically ship in 2–4 weeks from our Arcadia, California facility, depending on quantity and spring color mix. Project-specific engineering submittals (PE-stamped calcs, anchorage drawings) generally run in parallel and complete within the same window.
How are SSI-Series isolators mounted to the equipment and structure?
Each isolator has a built-in leveling stud on top that bolts to the equipment base, and the welded steel housing is anchored to the structural slab or curb through pre-drilled holes using cast-in-place or post-installed seismic anchors. Anchor size and embedment are determined per ACI 318-19 Chapter 17 using the project's seismic demands — we provide the stamped anchorage calcs as part of the submittal package.
Is there a warranty on SSI-Series isolators?
Yes. SSI-Series isolators are warranted by the manufacturer, Sigma Source LLC, against defects in materials and workmanship. Contact estimating@sigmasllc.com or (626) 203-6401 for the current warranty terms and project-specific documentation.
